Merry Merry Weekend

Hurray for RIGBY and coach JUDD....We had the opportunity to see first hand the Trojans beat Minico by a landslide. Way to go COACH.

Coach Judd's biggest FANS!!

GINGERBREAD MAKING in I.F...... We did gingerbread houses at Tami's this weekend. We weren't able to go to mom's for our annual gingerbread making so we decided that we would try and tackle them ourselves. Needless to say, they turned out cute, but it was iffy in the beginning....

I volunteered to make the gingerbread, and I didn't let one of them cook long enough so there was lots of repairs...

But it worked. Here the two masterpieces are. We had fun!! Thanks for all the cute ornaments and the fun weekend.

A Night at the BIG GAME

Okay, so I know I haven't blogged for a long time...the reason (or excuse) is my camera got ran over, not by a reindeer, but by a car. I was trying to carry to much into Trave's last football game and I didn't realize I had dropped it until later. Needless to say someone ran over it in the parking lot and it DIED. I know it was back in September, but I just barely replaced it. I know...when it comes to pictures just ask any of my siblings...I am the slowest and not so professional.

Anyway, Saturday night was the big BYU vs USU basketball game at the Energy Solutions arena. So we ventured out.

This is basically how the game went...the girls out of control...Trave very intensly watching and standing up and shouting with the not so nice Aggie Fans....Dave trying to watch...and me worried about the girls bothering other people. Needless to say I saw the first ten minutes of the game and then went outside with the girls. I now know why Dave and Trave have season tickets and the girls don't.

Here is one of the Aggies #1 basketball fans (not football), if this would have been a football game Trave would have wore his BYU hat. Taisley is just happy to be there. When we sat down to watch the game Taisley asked if Steve Nash was going to be playing tonight. If you ask her that is one of her four boyfriends. I told her he comes when the Suns play the Jazz.

I thought I would throw this in too. Taisley loves to dance and tumble. Her she is at Sky Views blue and white game performing in between games with the cheerleaders "CHEER CAMP".

Fall Sports Fans

Here SHE is Miss America, I mean Miss Coacha!! Taisley, Tylee, and Myself went to Preston Thursday night to watch the #1 Coach lead her team to another Vicotory!! It was fun to see her in action, she looked so grown up. Her team did great...when Trave saw this picture he said, "it looks like she is yelling at someone". Isn't that what coaches do? I must say her team is pretty cute.....especially the stat person.

Here we are for a quick photo with the coach just after her first win of the torney!

Here is the cute STAT person with two of his biggest fans!! Taisley was telling her friend last night that her boyfriends name is Colten. Her friend asked who that was and she said he is my uncle, but my boyfriend too.

Last weekend we had a fun crowd at our house. They came up to watch Trave play football!! Or if you ask Mark and Curt they came up to watch the Utes kill the Aggies at Romney Stadium and the Cougars crush UCLA on the big screen (they didn't make it to Traves game in the flesh but they said they were there is heart....BYU was on at the same time).

Here is Tylee at our first home Sky View High School football game. The school has these "SUPER FAN" shirts that everybody wears, so I had to get the kids one. Needless to say she got a lot of oh how cute remarks that night.

Here is Trave and Tylee too, Taisley decided she wanted to stay at here friends house, so we took Hayden and Taisley stayed with Halle. We love football!!

SCHOOL DAYS

Okay, so this isn't Trave's first day of school outfit, but he is so proud we have to blog it. He is part of the "BLUE BAND" club on his football team. The first practice after the game they give out blue bands to the four people who played the best and worked the hardest in practice that week. Needless to say I doubt the blue band will be removed from Traves arm anytime in the near future. He was pretty excited. His team got to play on Logan High Schools real turf field last Saturday, he loved it. They are 3 and 0 so far!!

TAISLEY started her first day of preschool yesterday. She loves it!!

SAME PICTURE I JUST CAN"T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DELETE IT, (and my blog advisor is in the middle of volleyball practice, so please disregard)

No, it is not really Brady Quinn at our house, it is TRAVE on is first day of school. He loves his jerserys...why do we even bother getting him anything else. He is pretty proud he can wear a jersery everyday of the week now with his Brady Quinn addition. The cutest thing was on the first day I was watching him get off the bus at home and him and Hayden (his BFF) got off at the same time and both had their jerserys on, quarterback (Brady Quinn) and the tight end (I can't remember Haydens jerserys name) But they were both for the Browns. It was pretty cute.

R U Ready for some FOOTBALL?

(Okay, so I am still trying to figure this out...I put my pictures in the wrong order, so scroll down to the end of this post and read it from top to bottom and all will make sense). They got their first win, so right after they went and said good game...Trave and Hayden grabbed thier water jug and threw water on the coach (he laughed and then said "If you ever want to play again you better not do it again") They loved it!!

Grandpa Brant and Grandma Raine made it to his first game..... what great supporters!!!

Look at these cute guys!! This is Trave and his BFF Hayden!! They are all smiles due to their big win!!

There is Trave...#69 as a captain at the beginning for the coin toss!! It was so cute!! It is like real Football, but they are only midgets.

Go SKY VIEW JR. MITES.....Here is Trave at his first football game. He has just been weighed in and is okay to play. Now it is game time. (Dave is helping coach...we really aren't crazy parents who go and get all decked out for our 8 year olds game....Daves nice shirt and hat are his pay for the time he puts in)

What is new with us.....

Trave started cub scouts...I even sewed his patches on his uniform...he was pretty impressed. When we bought it, he said"I guess we will have to send it to grandma raine to sew". He seemed a little shocked when I said I could do it. And the only complaint...I sewed a patch upside down (how was I to know).
Tylee finally started to walk and she is loving the new stage. She has to have a bag and a baby in her arms at all times.

Trave got a dog.. FINALLY... His name is Chipper (after Chipper Jones).

The last new thing is we have a football player (or two) in our home. Trave is playing little league football (yes tackle full pads, everything) He is very excited, he has practice every night from 5-7 and games on Saturday. His first game is this Saturday in Kaysville so we will post with the highlights.

fUn in the sUn

W
For FHE last week we took the wave runner out to Newton Dam so.... there is Tylee enjoying her first float in the tube. Then there is Trave and his budding waiting to go"tubing", and then Taisley showing off her pretty pink life jacket.

Our newest addition to our house is a pool for the kids....because we don't have grass
(or a level yard) Dave put the pool on the deck. Here is Trave floating on the crab.

SAN FRANCISCO TRIP

Trave got a ball at batting practice before the SF Giants took on the Chicago Cubs. Trave and Dave are pretty big sport fans. Wherever we go they try to take in a game. This trip they saw two games.

Trave and Taisley were pretty fasinated by the Golden Gate bridge. Trave was excited to see it.

Tylee's first flight. She did pretty good as long as she could walk up and down the isle and pull out all the magazines and safety instructions.

Here we are at Grandma Raines old stomping grounds (or swimming grounds). We took at drive to Santa Cruz and went to the Boardwalk and beach. Needless to say, it was a lot better than being in down town San Francisco.
